On May 28, the in-school coordination meeting of the Silk Road Scholarship Project of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government was held in the second conference room of the office building. More than 20 people, including the heads of relevant functional departments, the heads of international projects and the staff of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, participated in the coordination meeting.
Deng Chunmei, deputy director of the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange, chaired the meeting. Deng reviewed the background, declaration process and documents of the Silk Road Scholarship Project of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government in 2019, and deployed and arranged the overall requirements of the one-month foreign aid training project. Subsequently, two teachers, Tan Feng and Pudong, who are in charge of the Silk Road Scholarship Project of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government in 2019, reported on the preparatory work for this foreign aid training, and exchanged on-site with the relevant department leaders for the urgent problems to be solved in the current project implementation process.
In June 2017, our university and Datang Telecom Group jointly declared that "Cambodia Southeast Asia Telecom Group 4G Communication Technology and Marketing" was approved by the 2017 Municipal Government Foreign Student Mayor Scholarship Silk Road Project (senior and middle managers scholarship project), and successfully carried out a one-month special training. The training units and trainees highly appreciate it. This project is aimed at strengthening educational cooperation with the countries along the "one belt and one road", and training middle and advanced technical talents who are proficient in the China Telecom 4G standard and marketing management for the countries along the route (Kampuchea, Burma and Laos). The mode is to build the characteristic brand of "studying abroad in Chongqing".
